Minister Stubb to Bucharest

Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb will visit Bucharest, the capital of Romania on Tuesday 3 April. During his visit, he will have meetings with ministers of the Romanian Government: Minister of Foreign Affairs Cristian Diaconescu, Minister of European Affairs Leonard Orban and Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Environment Lucian Bode.

The discussions will focus on the Romanian Schengen entry, the situation of the Roma population, the economic crisis in Europe, strengthening of the economic union, the financial perspectives (the EU budget for 2014-2020) and key issues relating to growth, competitiveness and the internal market.
