Prime Ministers Katainen and Reinfeldt discussed key EU issues

Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Fredrik Reinfeldt discussed key EU issues in conjunction with a meeting of Nordic conservative party leaders held in Finland today. The bilateral meeting of the premiers focused on the euro crisis, the European Council meeting later this week and issues relating to the EU's future.

"Although Finland is a euro country and Sweden is not, it was good to notice how consistent our thinking is in EU issues. Our opinions often coincide", Prime Minister Katainen said.
