Minister of Defence Kääriäinen publishes a new web column

Minister of Defence Seppo Kääriäinen has published a new web column on the 2nd of November 2006. In the column minister Kääriäinen takes part in the general debate regarding peacekeeping, presenting his views on Finnish peacekeeping activities in Afghanistan as well as in other operations.

In the column, minister Kääriäinen stresses the fact that all Finnish troops that are being sent to various operations are both well equipped and trained. Minister Kääriäinen also underlines the fact that the risks can’t always be avoided.
