Prime Minister Katainen to meet the US political leaders in Washington D.C.
On 57 June, Prime Minister Katainen will travel to Washington D.C. On Thursday 7 June, he will meet the US Vice President Joe Biden. Prime Minister Katainen and Vice President Biden will discuss the bilateral relations between Finland and the Unites States, key international issues and the global economic situation.
During his visit, Prime Minister Katainen will also meet Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde, and members of the US Congress.
