Finland's stance on secondary market operations communicated already at Euro area summit
At the euro area summit in Brussels on 28-29 June, Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen stated, in the context of the discussion on the euro area summit statement, that Finland will not approve operations in the secondary markets because experience has shown them to be ineffective and because the EFSF and ESM resources are limited. Finlands position was reported in public on Friday.
