Czech Prime Minister Babiš to Finland

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babiš, will visit Finland on 20–21 May on the invitation of Prime Minister Juha Sipilä. The Prime Ministers will meet on Monday 21 May and hold discussions on topical EU matters, such as the multiannual financial framework, the development of the Economic and Monetary Union, migration, and the agenda of the July European Council.

The Prime Ministers will also attend a Business Seminar, held to look at the cooperation between Czech and Finnish companies and their future prospects.

Prime Minister Babiš will also have meetings with Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini and representatives of education and companies. Additionally, he will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the Czech Republic becoming a participating country of the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats.

The Prime Ministers' press conference will be broadcast live on Monday 21 May, starting at 14.00 at vn.fi/live
