Georgia's Minister of Defence to visit Finland

Georgian Minister of Defence Levan Izoria will make an official visit to Finland on 22 to 24 January 2017. The visit will be hosted by the Finnish Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö.
The topics on the agenda include bilateral relations between the two countries, the security situation in the neighbouring regions and international cooperation. An inspection of the guard of honour and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Hietaniemi cemetery are also included in Minister Izoria's programme.
Media representatives intending to attend the wreath-laying ceremony (photo op) at the Hietaniemi cemetery, or should there be any requests for interviews (time reserved at the end of the day Monday), are requested to register by 3 p.m. on 22 January by email to [email protected].
