The Government is currently assembled at Kesäranta, the Prime Minister’s Official Residence, where it is engaged in a two-day mid-term policy review session. The review is divided into four themes: skills, growth and employment, caring, reforms and security.
Today the focus of the review is a EUR 10 billion package (the sustainability gap) consisting of EUR 4 billion in savings, a further EUR 4 billion in reforms and EUR 2 billion for boosting growth. “Additional measures are needed for dealing with employment, in particular,” said Prime Minister Juha Sipilä.
