Minister of Defence Niinistö to Brussels

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will attend a meeting of NATO Ministers of Defence in Brussels on 27 October 2016. He will take part in the part of the meeting which deals with the cooperation between EU and Nato. In addition to the Nato countries EU and the partnership countries Finland and Sweden take part.

Minister of Defence Niinistö will also have a bilateral meeting with General Curtis M. Scaparrotti, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR). Minister of Defence Niinistö and General Scaparrotti will discuss current questions within the Nato-partnership cooperation, NATO operations and EU - Nato cooperation.
