Foreign Minister Soini meets Norwegian Minister of EEA and EU Affairs Vidar Helgesen

Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini will meet Norway's Minister of EEA and EU Affairs Vidar Helgesen in Helsinki on Monday 29 June.

The topics of the Ministers' bilateral discussions will include, among other things, current issues in the European policy and EEA, strengthening of the Nordic EU cooperation, Arctic issues, security policy matters, and Russia and the situation in Ukraine. 

During his visit, Helgesen will also meet Minister for Nordic Cooperation Anne Berner. In their talks, the Ministers will discuss the successive Nordic presidencies of Finland and Norway in 2016 and 2017, strengthening of the Nordic EU cooperation, and Nordic and bilateral infrastructure projects, transport and communications matters.
