Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja to meet the Turkish Minister for EU Affairs Volkan Bozkir in Helsinki

The Turkish Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkir will visit Helsinki on 25–26 February at the invitation of Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja. The topics of the ministers' bilateral discussions will include, for example, Turkey's EU membership process, topical international issues and the bilateral relations between Finland and Turkey.

EU Minister Bozkir will also meet with Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Lenita Toivakka, Speaker of Parliament Eero Heinäluoma as well as representatives of the Grand Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament. During his visit, Minister Bozkir will attend an event at the Paasikivi Society and speak on Turkey in Europe: Opportunities vs. Challenges.
