King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway will make a state visit to Finland on 6–8 September 2016 on the invitation of President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.
During the state visit, Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini will hold bilateral discussions with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende. The Ministers will discuss Russia, Arctic cooperation, topical political challenges related to Europe and security policy cooperation. In their discussions, they will also address other international questions.
Foreign Minister Brende will also meet Prime Minister Juha Sipilä.
