Nordic premiers to meet in Stockholm

Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen will attend the traditional Nordic prime ministers’ summer meeting on 15-16 May in Stockholm. The informal meeting will focus on key cooperation issues, for example cooperation in border regions, European questions such as management of the economic crisis and international issues like the situation in Syria.
In connection with this meeting, on 16 May, the Nordic employment ministers and representatives of the autonomous regions will have a job summit focusing on measures to promote the employment of young people. Minister of Labour Lauri Ihalainen will represent Finland at the meeting.
