Minister of Defence Kaikkonen to meet EU Commissioner Breton

Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen will meet European Commissioner Thierry Breton on Friday 13 May 2022 in Helsinki. Breton is the EU Commissioner for the Internal Market and, among other things, in charge of Defence Industry.

The topics of their bilateral discussions will include current defence policy issues, the security situation in Europe and military security of supply, as well as the Commission's initiatives to strengthen the EU's capabilities and defence industry.

Minister Kaikkonen and Commissioner Breton will also visit the National Defence University and the Guard Jaeger Regiment in Santahamina.
