Minister of Defence Savola to visit Sweden and Estonia

Minister of Defence Mikko Savola will make an official visit to Sweden and Estonia on Monday 16 January 2023. This official visit is Minister Savola's first visit as Minister of Defence.

On Monday morning, Minister Savola will meet Sweden's Minister of Defence Pål Jonson in Stockholm. After the visit to Sweden, Minister Savola will continue to Tallinn, where he will have a meeting with Estonia's Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur.

The Ministers will discuss the security situation in the neighbouring regions, Finland's and Sweden's NATO membership process, materiel cooperation and support to Ukraine.
