Nordic defence ministers to meet and visit Cold Response exercise

Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen will visit northern Norway on 25 March 2022. During his visit, Minister Kaikkonen will familiarise himself with the Cold Response 2022 exercise and meet other Nordic defence ministers.
The Finnish Defence Forces is participating in the Cold Response 2022 winter exercise organised by the Norwegian Defence Forces in the Narvik-Bardufoss area in northern Norway on 18 March to 2 April 2022. There are about 680 participants from the Finnish Defence Forces, of these about 470 are conscripts and 30 are reservists.
Participation in the exercise will improve Finland's national defence capability, bilateral cooperation with Norway and defence cooperation with Sweden.
