Esa Pulkkinen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, will represent Finland at the international conference #CopenhagenUkraine on support for Ukraine, to be held in Copenhagen on 11 August 2022.
The aim of the event is to strengthen the cooperation between Ukraine and a number of mainly Northern and Eastern European countries.
The conference will be hosted by Ukraine, the UK and Denmark. Besides Finland, the countries invited to the event are Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The conference will supplement the meetings of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in supporting Ukraine.
