The prime ministers of the Nordic and Baltic countries met in Copenhagen on Wednesday 2 November, in connection with the 68th Session of the Nordic Council. The topics on the agenda included regional collaboration and topical EU and international policy questions.
We have a shared view on two foreign policy issues concerning Russia and Syria. First of all, we still hold the firm opinion that implementing the Minsk agreement is the only solution to the Ukraine conflict. Second, we strongly condemn the military operations of the Syrian Government and Russia that target civilian infrastructure in Syria, Prime Minister Juha Sipilä said.
