President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss current situation in Ukraine

In their meeting on Friday 14 August, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the current situation in Ukraine.

Russia’s increased missile attacks underline the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defence. At the same time, economic pressure on Russia must be further intensified. Finland will continue its strong support for Ukraine and its efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.
