President Barham Salih received a farewell call from the Ambassador of Finland to Iraq Ms. Päivi Laine, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Photo: Iraqi PresidencyHis Excellency valued the efforts made by Ambassador Laine while performing her diplomatic duty through enhancing cooperation and developing relations between Baghdad and Helsinki.
The President expressed his wishes of success for the Finnish ambassador in her new tasks.
During the meeting, they stressed on continuing joint coordination, developing cooperation, and expanding bilateral relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.
