Government reported on outcome of spending limits session

The Government held its discussions on the 2025–2028 General Government Fiscal Plan, also known as the spending limits session, on 15–16 April at the Government Banquet Hall.

The Goverment held a press conference on the outcome of the budget talks on 16 April. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, Minister of Finance Riikka Purra, Minister of Education Anna-Maja Henriksson and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sari Essayah were present at the final briefing.

The election day polling station in the European elections is determined based on the voter’s place of residence. The voting register for the European elections, or elections to the European Parliament, to be held in June 2024 will be compiled based on the information contained in the Population Information System on 19 April 2024.
