Prime Minister Rinne to meet with Sweden's Prime Minister Löfven

Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will visit Helsinki on Saturday 5 October to meet Prime Minister Antti Rinne. The Prime Ministers will discuss topical EU affairs and regional questions.

The discussions will focus on the issues to be dealt with at the European Council meeting in October, i.e. the EU’s next multiannual financial framework for 2021–2027 and Brexit. Prime Ministers Rinne and Löfven will also talk about promoting sustainable growth.

Regional questions to be discussed include, for example, protection of the Baltic Sea and Arctic issues.

Prime Minister Rinne and Prime Minister Löfven will be available to talk to the media on Saturday 5 October at 14.40 at Hotel Clarion (Tyynenmerenkatu 2, Helsinki).
