On Monday 22 October, Petteri Orpo, Minister of Finance and Minister deputising for the Prime Minister, will meet Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam in Helsinki. The matters to be discussed by the ministers will include relations between Finland and Singapore, combating tax evasion and the importance of education for competitiveness.
Deputy Prime Minister Shanmugaratnam is the Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies in the Singapore Cabinet.
