STEA begins operations – welcome to the new website

The website for the Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organisations (STEA) has been opened.

The website's address is www.stea.fi. STEA will take up its activities on 2 January 2017.

STEA will manage the appropriation of grants from Veikkaus Oy's slot machine profits. Grants will be geared towards non-profit projects by social and health organisations that promote health and welfare.

STEA is an independent State grant authority that operates in connections with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

The STEA website provides information on the following:

• application for grants
• use of grants
• reporting, control and assessment
• organisation and contact information
• current news, releases and blogs
• eServices
• grants database (information on all grant recipients)
• data bank (instructions, guides, presentation materials and other publications)
• examples of good practices related to organisational operation
• links to STEA's social media channels

STEA will continue to develop its website and is open to development proposals. Please also inform us, if you encounter an error or functional problem on the website. Feedback can be sent to [email protected]
