Chief Executive Officer post at the National Emergency Supply Agency of Finland attracted 59 applications

By the due date, a total of 59 candidates had applied for the post of Chief Executive Officer at the National Emergency Supply Agency.

There are a further 21 applicants who do not wish their names to be published.

The previous CEO of the National Emergency Supply Agency, Raimo Luoma, resigned on 7 June 2019 following his appointment as State Secretary to Prime Minister Antti Rinne. Asko Harjula will function as the acting CEO until a new CEO is appointed, or until 31 October 2019. Harjula was previously the Deputy Director General for Administration at the National Emergency Supply Agency.

The Government will appoint the new CEO in the early autumn.
