Minister Harakka will visit the Committee in his capacity as chair of the Competitiveness Council and present the Finnish Presidency’s objectives for consumer policy and the single market. The EP Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection has a central role in developing the single market and in reducing barriers to the flow of goods and services. Its work on legislative files on consumer protection and consumer rights is also important.
