The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment has a new website, logo and visual identity. The new website is designed to be more user-oriented, as it features more clearly organised content, better search engine visibility, improved texts and more Graphics.

The content has been organised with the website's target audience in mind. More information is now available for business users, in particular.

With the launch of the new website, the Ministry is now using the Government's joint publication platform and online communication model. These are already used by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The changes made affect the site structure, content, functionality and services. Development of the website will continue to the end of the year.

The Ministry's new logo and visual identity were created by Ilari Pousi of Sissy Oy. The new look will be used in the information material produced by the Ministry and in its communications channels. The previous logo and visual identity date back to 2008, the year in which the Ministry of Employment and the Economy was established. Alongside the new look and redesigned website, the Ministry's English name has been changed to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (previously the Ministry of Employment and the Economy).
