Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti to visit India

Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti from the Ministry of Defence will make a working visit to New Delhi, India on 13 to 17 January 2020. The aim of the visit is to strengthen cooperation and trade between Finland and India.

Permanent Secretary Juusti was invited to attend the Raisina Dialogue 2020 conference in New Delhi. To be held on 14 to 16 January, the conference is organised by India's Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). It is India's most important geopolitical forum, which will be attended also this year by a large number of politicians, senior officials and researchers (https://www.orfonline.org/raisina-dialogue, #Raisina2020).

The event offers a number of opportunities for discussion with key actors and experts in the region. Permanent Secretary Juusti will participate in a panel together with Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Marise Payne and Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale. The panel will discuss "Coalitions & Consensus: In Defence of Values that Matter '.
