Kari Jääskeläinen appointed Special Adviser to Minister of Economic Affairs Kulmuni

Minister of Economic Affairs Katri Kulmuni has appointed Kari Jääskeläinen, Master of Administrative Sciences, as her Special Adviser. He will take up this position immediately. Jääskeläinen will assist the Minister in business and employment matters, and with the Minister’s communications. Other Special Advisers to the Minister will be appointed shortly.

In the previous government, Jääskeläinen served as Prime Minister Juha Sipilä’s Special Adviser in domestic affairs since April 2018. Previously he served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Transport.

Jääskeläinen has also worked in the Centre Party Parliamentary Group, in various positions in the Centre Party, as a special adviser in the European Parliament; as manager of business affairs in the Federation of Finnish Enterprises; and as a director in the Confederation of Finnish Industries.
