Entry into Finland allowed from 26 July onwards with proof of full vaccination

Starting on Monday 26 July 2021, people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed to enter Finland from all countries. A list of approved vaccines is available on the website of the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). In addition, cruise ship passengers arriving from an EU or Schengen country will be allowed to disembark. Please note that proof of recovery from COVID-19 is acceptable justification for entry into the country only for citizens and residents of EU and Schengen countries.

On 10 December 2019, the President of the Republic appointed Prime Minister Sanna Marin’s Government, which is Finland’s 76th government. Marin’s Government is formed by the Social Democratic Party, the Centre Party, the Greens, the Left Alliance and the Swedish People's Party of Finland. The Government has 19 ministers.
