Government briefing on the coronavirus situation 7 April 2020 at 08.00

The Government will hold a briefing on the coronavirus situation on 7 April at 08.00.

The briefing will focus on government policies concerning tighter limits to traffic at the national borders.

Minister of the Interior Maria Ohisalo, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto, Minister of Justice Anna-Maja Henriksson and Minister of Transport and Communications Timo Harakka will attend the briefing.

The event will be broadcast live on Yle Areena and with simultaneous interpretation in Swedish on the Swedish-language Yle Arenan service.

The Government held a briefing on the coronavirus situation on 2 April. It focused on the restrictions in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Education and Culture to be extended until 13 May.

Minister of Education Li Andersson and Minister of Science and Culture Hanna Kosonen were present at the briefing.
