Information and advice on the coronavirus
The package of government information and advice on coronavirus (COVID-19) includes the policies and decisions of the Government, the restrictions and guidelines that are in force, answers to frequently asked questions, information on the Government’s management arrangements during the state of emergency, and on the coronavirus information packs put together by the different ministries.
The contents of the package are in Finnish and Swedish, and most of it is in English as well. Some of the Government’s press releases have also been translated into the Saami languages and into Estonian, Russian, Somali and Arabic. The Government’s press conferences have also been interpreted in Finnish sign language.
Being responsible together
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus from accelerating again, remember to wash your hands frequently and carefully, cover your mouth with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough and keep a safe distance from others. If you think you’ve been infected, go get tested. Protect those at risk.
Government updates policies on border issues, remote working and recommendations for persons over 70 years of age
In its meeting on Tuesday 23 June, the Government also received a report on the measures to be taken based on the assessment of the crisis follow-up group headed by Permanent Secretary Martti Hetemäki.
In addition, the Government received a briefing on the current epidemiological situation.
