The government plenary session of 10 December 2019 appointed six ministerial working groups and 14 January 2021 a ministerial working group on sustainable growth in Finland. Ministerial working groups can be entrusted with the preparatory work on certain matters or sets of related matters.
Ministerial Working Group on Promoting Employment
The Ministerial Working Group on Promoting Employment guides and directs the implementation of the Government Programme in the following areas: employment promotion, labour market issues, and employment legislation.

The Ministerial Working Group on Internal Security and Strengthening the Rule of Law discusses matters relating to the development of judicial administration, prevention of exclusion, prevention of over-indebtedness, and realisation of fundamental rights. It also discusses matters of internal security and asylum and refugee policy.

Ministerial Working Group on Sustainable Growth in Finland
The Ministerial Working Group on Sustainable Growth in Finland's task is to oversee the preparation of the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland and the related national recovery and rehabilitation plan financed through the EU recovery instrument, and to guide and monitor their implementation. The ministerial working group will also discuss reforms and investments related to the programme, and will address business and entrepreneurship policy issues when necessary.
