  2. 19.12.2024 | Finland’s Central Government and other operators are applying for a total of approximately EUR 73.36 million in financial support for 11 transport projects from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Transport.   3. 30.5.2024 | Finnish Government submitted to Parliament a proposal on the acceptance and bringing into force of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between Finland and the United States on 30 May. The proposal consists of the act bringing into force the agreement and ten related acts. According to the proposal, the acceptance of the agreement will require a two-thirds majority decision of Parliament.

  5. 22.5.2025 | Minister of the Interior Mari Rantanen attended a meeting on EU civil preparedness and resilience in Brussels, Belgium, on 22 May. The aim of the meeting, convened by the Netherlands, was to launch a ministerial-level coalition to promote preparedness in the EU. The need for the coalition arises from the current geopolitical situation and the Preparedness Union Strategy published by the Commission in March.
