The Strategy highlights climate and biodiversity targets, which are important also for Finland. The strategy has evolved towards more balanced version during the preparation by the Commission, leaving however room for improvement in the initiatives to follow.

  4. Preliminär överenskommelse om förordningen om cirkulär ekonomi för fordon - Statsrådet

    12.12.2025 | Europeiska unionens medlemsstater, Europaparlamentet och Europeiska kommissionen nåddeden 12 december en preliminär överenskommelse om förordningen om cirkulär ekonomi för fordon. Syftet med förordningen är bland annat att främja cirkulär fordonskonstruktion och fordonstillverkning, öka återanvändningen av delar från uttjänta fordon, förbättra kvaliteten på återvinningsmaterial från uttjänta fordon samt förhindra att uttjänta fordon försvinner så att de inte omfattas av adekvat avfallshantering.
