  6. 25.11.2021 | The social security agreement between Finland and Japan will enter into force on 1 February 2022. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, and Takashi Murata, Japan’s Ambassador to Finland, exchanged notes on 25 November to bring the bilateral agreement into force. When the agreement enters into force, workers posted to a Contracting State will avoid double pension and unemployment insurance contributions.

The meeting will discuss foreign policy, international relations, the state of the global economy and Finland’s positioning in the post-pandemic world.   10. 4.11.2019 | The Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the City of Shanghai are organising the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on 5–10 November 2019. The event is now being held for the second time, and Finland has again been invited. The first batch of COVID-19 vaccines donated to developing countries arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’ Ivoire, on Thursday 4 November. Based on a joint decision by the EU, vaccines are distributed through COVAX, the global mechanism for equitable access to the vaccines.
