President of the Republic and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss Finland’s NATO partnership, Government’s Defence Report and cooperation with the UK

In their meeting on 16 December, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy received a briefing on developments related to NATO and topical matters concerning Finland’s NATO partnership.

Finland is continuing its dialogue and wide-ranging cooperation with NATO as a partner country.
The President and the Ministerial Committee also discussed the preparation of the Government’s Defence Report.

In addition, the President and the Ministerial Committee discussed foreign, security and defence policy cooperation with the UK following its withdrawal from the EU.
