Prime Minister Sipilä to attend funeral of Shimon Peres

Representing Finland, Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will be attending the funeral of Shimon Peres, former Israeli President and Prime Minister. The funeral will be held on 30 September in Jerusalem. Peres died on 28 September. Peres was one of the three Nobel Peace Prize winners in 1994.
'Shimon Peres was one of the most significant statemen and advocates for the Middle East peace process of our time', observes Prime Minister Sipilä.
