Prime Minister Marin to attend World Economic Forum in Davos
Prime Minister Sanna Marin will take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday 17 January.
At the forum, the Prime Minister will attend an event where she will be interviewed about the current international situation and her term as Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Marin will take part in a high-level panel dealing with Russia’s war of aggression and the situation in Europe together with President of the European Council Charles Michel and other speakers.
She will also speak at an event attended by representatives of the business community and will meet with politicians and business leaders.
The Prime Minister last attended the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2020. This year, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari and Minister of Transport and Communications Timo Harakka will also take part in the forum.
The annual forum in Davos brings together leaders and influencers from states, business and civil society to discuss the state of the world and find common solutions to the challenges of our time.
