Minister of Employment Tuula Haatainen has invited Master of Administrative Sciences Emily Strohm to serve as her Special Adviser.

Strohm’s particular areas of responsibility will be communications and media relations. 

Her previous work experience includes service as Senior Specialist responsible for the coordination of the healthcare and social welfare services reform and for service activities and digitalisation at the Finnish Federation for Social Affairs and Health SOSTE, and at the Unemployment Fund of the Construction Sector. 

Mikko Heinikoski and Piritta Jokelainen will continue to serve as Special Advisers to Minister Haatainen. Heinikoski is responsible for matters related to employment, employment services and financial management of companies and Jokelainen for matters related to labour legislation, labour migration and integration, corporate responsibility and EU and international affairs. The State Secretary to Minister Haatainen is Ville Kopra.

Strohm started in her new post on 17 October 2022.
