Prime Minister Marin to attend European Council meeting in Brussels

The European Council will also discuss means to protect critical infrastructure, the effects of Russia’s war of aggression on global markets and food security, and the increasing cost of energy. The EU leaders will assess the state of energy prices and security of supply, including market optimisation measures and progress on demand reduction.
They will also have a discussion on EU-Asia relations, with a particular focus on China. The UN Climate Change Conference (6–18 November) and the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (7–19 December) will also be on the agenda.
