On Saturday 14 November, the President of the Republic and the Government received updated information on the terrorist attacks in Paris and the ensuing measures undertaken in Finland. According to estimates by the Finnish authorities, the threat of a terrorist act in Finland is still at a low level. The level of preparedness has, however, been raised. Finland is in close contact with the French authorities to obtain as up-to-date and accurate information on the course of the events in Paris as possible.
