Press release -

Prime Minister Anneli Jäätteenmäki will submit the resignation of the Government to the President of the Republic, Tarja Halonen, on Wednesday, 18 June 2003 at Kultaranta, the summer residence of the President of the Republic in Naantali.

The Minister deputising for the Prime Minister, Antti Kalliomäki, will represent Finland at the Thessaloniki European Council.
