Foreign Minister Tuomioja does not travel to NATO Foreign Ministers meeting in Antalya, Turkey

A meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers will be held on 13–14 May in Antalya, Turkey. The Resolute Support operation (RS) ministerial meeting will convene on 13 May with participants from partner countries involved in the operation. Under-Secretary of State Jaakko Laajava will represent Finland in the meeting.

Tuomioja was to take part in a working lunch focusing on the security situation of the Middle East and Northern Africa on 13 May. The meeting would have been the first at foreign minister level between NATO and the Enhanced Opportunities (EO) partner countries. However, the working lunch was cancelled because all the invited parties would not have been able to attend.
