Defence Forces to purchase software licences from Cisco

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö authorised, on 22nd of March 2019, the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command to procure software licences from Cisco.
The procurement serves to harmonise licence practices for Cisco telecommunications equipment. It will also enable the Defence Forces to maintain the collective performance and capacity of its telecommunication services. The total value of the procurement is about EUR 6.2 million between 2019 and 2023. The procurement has no impact on employment in Finland.
