The first meeting arranged by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on 4 August 2020 was also attended by representatives from IMO, International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), and International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH).

28.1.2019 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications starts to reform the Act on Electronic Communication Services. To support the work the Ministry has appointed a monitoring group for a term from 28 January 2019 until 31 December 2020.

4.4.2019 | During the 2010s, there has been a significant increase in the numbers of people involved in jihadist activity in Finland. However, most of this activity is still quite small in scale, and it is mainly concerned with providing support in the form of recruitment and financing. Jihadist communication online has also increased during the present decade. The University of Helsinki has conducted two studies on these topics, commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior.

17.6.2025 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications has launched a legislative project to improve the operating conditions for the transport sector. The aim of the project is to further specify the EU regulation concerning road cabotage and make the regulations easier to comply with and supervise. In addition, the project promotes the use of vehicles powered by alternative fuels with a total mass not exceeding 4,250 kg in goods transport.
