27.5.2024 | The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment requests comments on the draft decree amending the Government Decree on Infrastructure Support for Electric Transport, Biogas and Use of Renewable Hydrogen in Transport between 2022 and 2025 (Distribution Infrastructure Decree). 12.2.2024 | On 12 February 2024, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment published a report on the changes to the distribution obligation of transport fuels. AFRY Management Consulting Oy produced the report on behalf of the Ministry. The report’s purpose was to evaluate the effects of the proposed changes to the distribution obligation outlined in the Government Programme.

To curb the rapid rise in prices, the Government decided earlier this year to lower the renewable fuel distribution obligation in 2022. Now the Government is proposing the same reduction of 7.5 percentage points for 2023.
