19.12.2024 | On 19 December 2024, the President of the Republic approved the Act on Offshore Wind Power in the Exclusive Economic Zone. 21.11.2025 | The European Commission has selected communications projects to receive funding from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). In the fourth round of calls for proposals under the CEF Digital programme, five projects coordinated by Finnish operators received a total of around EUR 4.67 million in funding. In addition, EU funding is being sought for the acquisition of a new icebreaker. The 82nd session of the Committee continued negotiations on global measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from marine transport.
