  6. 6.3.2025 | On 6 March 2025, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) delivered a decision on cases concerning additional tax on pension income. The ECtHR unanimously held that there had been no violation of Article 14 (prohibition of discrimination) of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and Article 1 of Protocol No. 12 (general prohibition of discrimination) to the Convention. The ECtHR declared the complaint under Article 13 (right to an effective remedy) of the Convention inadmissible.

  9. 5.12.2025 | The Government has decided to set up a fixed-term state aid scheme for data centres. The Government will also launch a cross-administrative legislative project to establish a register of data centres and lay down the related obligations. These decisions were made by the Ministerial Committee on Economic Policy in its Friday 5 December meeting, where the committee also decided that the security authorities would explore the security aspects related to data centres.

From the beginning of August 2026, the maximum fee will be EUR 335 and the minimum EUR 32. If there is more than one child in a family, the fee for the family’s second child is at most 40% of the fee for the family’s first child, i.e. a maximum of EUR 134. The fee for the family’s next children is 20% of the fee charged for the youngest child.
