On Tuesday 27 January, Prime Minister Orpo met for separate discussions with President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhao Leji. In all three discussions, Prime Minister Orpo highlighted Finland’s and Europe’s support for Ukraine, EU-China relations and a variety of bilateral issues, including increasing Finland’s exports to China.

  7. 16.12.2025 | In its meeting on Tuesday 16 December, the Ministerial Committee on European Union Affairs outlined Finland’s positions for the European Council and the EU-Western Balkans summit taking place this week. Finland is seeking re-election to the Council.
